Do you know Alan O'Brien?

If you are one of the many who have worked with Alan during his years in the global industrial and power engineering sectors, you will understand how pleased we are to welcome him to the Acres management team. If you don't know him yet, here are a few words of background and his contact information, so you can become better acquainted.

A mere 25 years ago Alan first applied his engineering talents as a Trainee Designer of electro-mechanical components in his native England. Moving to North America, his projects grew in size and his reputation grew with them. He comes to us from AMEC, where he originally managed business unit activities in the process and power markets in Ontario and Northeast US, and most recently was Senior Vice President, with responsibility for international marketing and development activities in all lines of business. Alan was also responsible for the very successful DuPont Canada strategic alliance for a period of almost 15 years.

Alan joined Acres in October of last year, as Vice President for Acres Thermal/Industrial Business Unit in the Central Region, which includes our Oakville and Niagara Falls offices in Ontario, and our Amherst office in New York State. He is also working with other senior managers on matters of strategic development and growth in this important business unit. In addition, he is responsible for the strategic development of our Heavy Industrial and Mining business.
