Our latest guest article is by Mark West, Director of the Centre for Architectural Structures and Technology at the University of Manitoba. Professor West and three of his students have developed a new, high-efficiency design and production process for concrete beams.

Acres was a major driving force in the successful development of the El Canadá hydroelectric facility on the Río Samalá in Guatemala. The facility is now the flagship hydroelectric development of ENEL Latin America and has qualified for carbon credits from the World Bank’s Prototype Carbon Fund.
