Hatch Energy is assisting Hydro One Networks in a comprehensive evaluation of the condition of its transmission and sistribution asset base. We are reviewing the asset condition assessment processes currently in use by Hydro One, recommending changes in the application and use of available maintenance and condition assessment data, proposing composite "health indices" to represent the health of major system equipment, and applying the recommended processes in the evaluation of asset condition. In the end, the condition assessment results will be filed with the Ontario Energy Board and used by Hydro One in support of its proposed capital, operating and maintenance expenditures.
